3….Ny lejlighed på Costa del sol
Da vi rejste hjemmefra i 2005, var det med ønsket om at finde et lille hus med et oliventræ og et par citrontræer i haven. Et ønske vi dog hurtigt måtte opgive, da en sådan bolig, kaldet en finca, ikke var til at opdrive i området langs kysten mellem Marbella og San Pedro del Alcantara, hvor vi ønskede at bo.
Bortset fra byhuse og store prangende millionærvillaer, lå de mange boliger der var til leje i såkaldte urbanisationer, der er navnet på en gruppe luksuslejligheder omgivet af en høj mur, med en sikkerhedskode og en portvagt ved indgangen.
Denne boligform var og er yderst populær for fastboende udlændinge på Costa del Sol dengang, og nu ihvor der igen bliver bygget i rekordfart alle mulige og umulige steder langs kysten. Byggekranerne var grundet krisen, der kom få år efter vores ankomst pludselig helt væk, men ses nu igen allevegne.
Vores første lejlighed fandt vi via en dansk kvinde, som jeg kendte rigtig godt fra København. Hun kontaktede os ved ankomsten og kiggede lige forbi med en flaske Cava og tilbød os hjælp med dit og dat, hvilket jo er skønt, når man står på bar grund i et nyt land.
Sødt af hende tænkte jeg , og hvad pokker, nu starter vi på en frisk hernede og slår en streg over fortiden ( Big big mistake)
Hun fortalte, lad os kalde hende Jenny, at hun for nogle måneder siden var flyttet i en helt nybygget urbanisation, hvor der faktisk var en skøn penthouse lejlighed til leje, som vi da skulle tage et kig på .
Jamen selvfølgelig skulle vi det.
Næste dag startede vi med lidt frokost i Jennys lejlighed, der lå øverst i den del af urbanisationen, der var helt færdigbygget. Det skal nævnes, at hun havde talent for boligindretning og dekoration, så lejligheden fremstod særdeles indbydende og spiselig.
Hun havde også fået udleveret nøglen, så hun kunne stå for til fremvisningen af den ledige penthouselejlighed.
Spændte tog vi elevatoren op til øverste etage i opgangen ved siden af Jennys og trådte indnfor i lejligheden.
Wauv, Der var hele fem værelser, og i den ene stue var en pejs. Hele to store badeværelser med brus og karbad, holdt i marmor i de smukkeste nuancer. Desuden to terrasser, hvor den øverste var på hele 30 kvadratmeter, med havudsigt og hvor man længst ude til venstre kunne se Gibraltarklippen og Afrikas kyst i det fjerne.
Glemte jeg lige at nævne, at der selvfølgelig også var privat garage i kælderen , med to tilhørende parkeringpladser.
Huslejen på 6.500 for hele herligheden, må siges at være yderst rimelig, sammenlignet med det absurd dyre København, hvor man knap nok ville få et lejet værelse til den pris.
Vi blev rimeligt imponerede og havde glemt alt om finca og oliventræer.
Bygningerne var omgivet af et parklignende område, med velholdte grønne plæner, hvor græsset var af en type, det føltes som gik man på skumgummisvampe. Foran indgangene og nedkørslen til garagen, var en flot palmealle. og citron og appelsintræer og hele tre swimmingpools, samt et ufærdigt træningscenter .
Vi besluttede os på stedet for at leje lejligheden.
Selvfølgelig var det vores fejl, at vi ikke havde undersøgt udlejningssystemet på stedet, hvor det almindelige var, at udlejninslejligheder var fuldt møblerdet med alt tænkeligt tilbehør inkluderet, som teskeer,sengelinned, håndklæder kopper, gryder, tallerkener osv.
Vi var ankommet til Spanien med vores tøj, mit staffeli og min kat Valde der var 19år.
Det kunne Jenny der kendte til dette .måske også have oplyst os om, men det gjorde hun ikke, så vi måtte ud og købe alt, ligesom i alt.
